Veronica Madrabajakis has been dancing with Hellen and Joseph since five years old. Her weekly hobby at her local private dance studio became something more: the beginning of her dance career. After her early years dancing at the studio, Madrabajakis extended her education at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, majoring in dance. While attending high school, Elevation Dancentre was established, and she danced willingly alongside Hellen and Joseph into a new realm of dance education. Along with school, Madrabajakis started teaching at Banubury Kids Dance, and later became head tap, jazz and musical theatre teacher. She later graduated from Cardinal Carter with honors and was awarded the prestigious Dance Award. After high school, Madrabajakis auditioned for Ryerson University’s dance program, and was awarded early acceptance. She had the opportunity to work with esteemed choreographers such as: Nadia Potts, Vicki St.Denys, Karen Duplisea, Arsenio Andrade and Robert Glumbek. She also choreographed in Ryerson’s Choreographic Works for three consecutive years. Her experiences at Ryerson Theatre School had allowed her to flourish as an accomplished performer and choreographer. Madrabajakis is honored to be a part of the Elevation Dancentre family and is proudly awaiting the next dance season.
